Flooding has hit Newbury after heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.

Heavy rain has caused considerable flooding across the town, including on the corner of Bartholomew Street and Pound Street.

Gov.uk has not issued any flood warnings or alerts for the district today (Thursday).

Instead, its website reads: “There's a low risk of flooding.
