Flash warning for heavy rain across West Berkshire




Public advised to take care as heavy rainfall and snow predicted

A FLASH warning for heavy rain in West Berkshire today (Thursday) has been issued by the Met Office.

The public have been advised to take extra care, as forecasters predict up to an inch of rainfall in some areas.

Downpours are expected to continue through this afternoon, more information is available on the Environment Agency website, Floodline on 0845 988 1188, and Flood Warnings in force.

The Met Office has also issued an advisory notice for heavy snow, with several centimetres predicted for West Berkshire and Reading tomorrow.
