Flipped car on A34 causing delays to southbound carriageway

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, Chris Kearney, said it was a single vehicle incident involving a female who was driving a silver Mitsubishi.
He said: "The car has flipped and gone off the road on the southbound carriageway south of Chilton, near the junction of Bury Lane."
He added that the air ambulance had attended and that the patient had been taken to John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.
Two fire pumps from Newbury and another from Dee Road in Reading also attended.
