Flood warning in place after heavy rainfall
Heavy rainfall is expected to batter West Berkshire again today before weakening through the middle of the week.
The Met Office said any threat of sunshine breaking out will be short lived as the rain is likely to return, along with brisk winds, just in time for the weekend.
It issued a warning on Monday for London and the South of England to prepare for surface water flooding and localised flooding.
The public should be prepared for surface water flooding and localised river flooding, as well as very difficult driving conditions, it said.
A flood warning was also put in place for the River Pang.
Flooding of low lying land and roads was expected, however homes were expected to be safe.
