According to the organisers of the Parkinson’s UK Run Highclere, due to take place in the castle grounds on Sunday 29 April at 10.30am, heavy rainfall in the area this week has made the grounds unsuitable for running.
The run is to take place later in the year. A rearranged date will be announced shortly.
Approximately 450 runners were due to take part. Runners who have signed up for the run have been notified of the postponement, also according to the organisers.
If runners have any questions, they can call the events team on 020 7932 1356 and 020 7963 9312 during office hours, or 07887 718304 out of hours.
