Former bank to become shops and flats

A former bank on Thatcham High Street is going to be turned into two shops and four flats.

West Berkshire Council approved the plans to change the use of the building at number 9 despite objections from Thatcham Town Council.

It had said there were an insufficient number of parking spaces for the number of flats within the development and not enough space for a turning point within the car park.
