Former Tadley man’s book commended by Lord Carey

Fifty-two-year-old David Lambourn’s book, But is he God, (Authentic Media £9.99) includes the following quote from Lord Carey of Clifton, the Archbishop of Canterbury between 1991 and 2002:
“There is no shortage of exceptional books on Jesus, but David Lambourn’s book offers a very readable and exciting examination of the greatest figure in human history.”
Mr Lambourn, whose parents live at Whitedown Road, Tadley, said that he took 10 years to research and write the 248-page book, after being inspired by many conversations about faith over the years.
Lord Carey’s comment came as a result of Mr Lambourn emailing the manuscript to him.
“I felt very honoured that he should write such a warm commendation,” said Mr Lambourn.
“He is a wonderful servant of Christ and passionate in his defence of the Christian heritage of our nation.”
Mr Lambourn runs the Yamaha Music School at Brighton Hill Community College, Basingstoke.
