Four arrested following reports of hare coursing




Alert from local gamekeeper results in hare coursing arrests

FOUR men have been arrested following a report of hare coursing and vehicle theft in Wantage Road, Brightwalton, on Monday (January 31).

Thames Valley Police were alerted to a report of illegal coursing by a local gamekeeper at around 4pm.

Officers attended and, with the help of the helicopter and dogs unit, four men were arrested in near East Ilsley.

A 45-year-old man and a 26-year-old man from Staines, a 30-year-old man from Slough and a 23-year-old man from Maidenhead were arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle and hare-coursing and are currently being held in police custody.
