Police arrest Thatcham woman, Tadley woman, Bramley man and Wokingham man for a variety of offences concerning conspiracy to commit burglary and theft
A woman from Thatcham and a woman from Tadley were among those arrested by police for a variety of offences concerning conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit theft.
Today (Tuesday) officers carried out five warrants at addresses across the West Berkshire, Wokingham and Hampshire policing areas under Section 8 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act.
Four arrests were made and all suspects remain in police custody at this time.
A 45-year-old woman from Thatcham was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and a 29-year-old woman from Tadley was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary.
A 23-year-old man from Bramley was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit theft, as well as a 21-year-old man from Wokingham who was arrested for conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit theft.
Senior investigating officer DI Francesca Jarvis said: “There is a lot of work going on behind the scenes to help tackle organised criminality.
“I hope that these warrants demonstrate that we take reports of burglary seriously and will take action to deal with criminality and organised crime in your local area.
