Free parking at Kingsland Centre car park, on Saturday, for Small Business Saturday

As the town kicks off its Christmas events, parking will be free at the Kingsland Centre tomorrow (Saturday 4).

This is a part of the Thatcham Town Councils support of ‘Small Business Saturday’.

The council will be funding this free parking, at the Kingsland Centre car park, which will be on offer from 8am to 6pm.

Saturday will also see a 'Festive Family Fun Day’ and ‘Thatcham Festive Market’ come to the town.

This is a part of wider Christmas events, for the councils 'Warming up to Christmas' weekend event programme from Friday 3 (today) to Sunday 5.

Small Business Saturday, which is practised nationally, was set up to support and promote small and independent businesses across the country.

The initiative is now in its ninth year.
