Freefall lands MND £1,160





Antony Gudgeon and his partner Andy Rouillard embarked on the skyfall on Sunday and raised £1,160 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association West Berkshire branch, a charity which offers support to his best friend’s father, Alec Jenkins, from Newbury.
The total amount raised is almost four times their target of £250.
Mr Gudgeon said: “This is going directly to my local branch of the MND Association so that it can directly help Alec and his friends from this area who are living with MND.
“I have been completely overwhelmed by the support and generosity of everybody and would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
“Words simply cannot describe the thrill of the free fall, where I reached speeds of 126mph, falling one mile in 30 seconds, or the serenity of floating to the ground in absolute silence – it was truly unbelievable.”
