n The Devizes to Westminster canoe race, toMonday. The majority of the boats are expected to arrive at Northcroft, Newbury, between 1.30pm and 7pm today (Friday). They will depart again from 6.30am tomorrow morning. Adult doubles crews will begin from Devizes tomorrow (Saturday) and are expected to pass through Hungerford from around 2pm that day.

n The annual Lambourn Open Day, from 7.30am. Stables open throughout the morning, with the central arena open from 1pm with a full programme of equine and country demonstrations and shows. Tickets and programmes (£15 for adults all day, £7 for just afternoon entertainment, under 12s free) are available from the entrance of each yard on the day and grants admission to the whole event.
