From West End to Thatcham Broadway




Stars of the London stage support hardship fund to train talented young performers

Stars of Les Miserables, Martin Guerre, Sunset Boulevard and Fame will be performing in Thatcham,in aid of a local performing arts charity.

Shaun Dalton – who is currently starring in Les Mis at the Queens Theatre, having played the Beast in Beauty and The Beast on the UK tour, will be joined by Juliette Caton (Les Mis, Martin Guerre), Sophia Nomvete (Fame, Footloose) and Helen Power (Chess, Sunset Boulevard), along with local West End performer and director of Read Dance and Theatre Jamie Read (Joseph, Spirit of The Dance).

The concert is at 7.30pm on Sunday, November 20, at St Mary's Church, Thatcham, and will be raising money for the Read College Student Hardship Fund, which supports talented young people through their training in the arts.

The joint director and fundraiser for Read College, Helen Read, said: “It's fantastic that these incredible performers are giving their time for free, to help support young people trying to get a start in this industry. It's also fantastic that they're all coming to perform in Thatcham.”
