Here’s the full list of dates the M4 will be closed between junction 13 at Chieveley and junction 12 at Theale this summer




Roadworks are continuing to cause disruptions on the M4 this week, writes Martha White.

Drivers using the M4 eastbound are being warned to prepare for overnight delays, as resurfacing continues at Junction 12.

National Highways said the carriageway resurfacing will take place overnight, during the week, between June and September.

“For safety, we'll need overnight full closures of the eastbound carriageway and some overnight lane closures,” it added.

Diversions will be in place for drivers, who will be advised to exit at M4 Junction 13, continue southbound on the A339, then join A4 London Road, continue onto Bath Road and re-join the M4 at Junction 12.

National Highways is warning of delays, especially during peak travel hours and reminds motorists to allow extra time for journeys.
