Fun and funds at Cold Ash Ball

The event, held at the Regency Park Hotel on October 4, saw more than 200 people turn out to raise £2,500.
The money will be divided equally between Cold Ash St Mark’s Church, the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance and Eight Bells for Mental Health.
Former organiser, Caroline Stevenson, said: “The dedicated organising committee of three did a fantastic job of securing more than 20 donated raffle prizes, including meals out at local pubs, a night away and a huge food hamper.
"The delicious three-course meal and live music by The Extra Covers – an excellent local band – ensured those attending danced the night away and made the night a huge success.”
The ball, was originally organised by St Marks Church to pay for roof repairs and a new boiler to run the heating system.
