Fun in the park for young dads in Newbury

Members from Young Dads TV, an information service for dads, step-fathers and male carers aged under 25, will be in the park between 2pm and 4pm to give young fathers a chance to chat about their experiences while enjoying a free, fun afternoon with their children.
There will be competitions including how quickly and safely can you dress the baby as well as a penalty shoot out, Easter egg hunt, face painting and juggling
Prizes for the events will include a family swimming ticket for Northcroft Leisure Centre.
The event is being hosted by Churches Together in the Newbury Area and Tess Hood of Jubilee Records has helped organise the event as part of her ongoing support for fathers.
"Whatever the weather, this is a great opportunity for families to enjoy a free, fun-packed afternoon in the local park,” she said.
