Further lane closures on the A339 this week

Contractors putting finishing touches on Victoria Park

THERE will be further lane closures on the A339 this week.

The inside lane of the northbound carriageway will be closed between Sainsbury's and the Robin Hood roundabout between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

This is to allow tree planting and fencing work to be carried out in Victoria Park.

Also this week, the inside lane of the southbound carriageway at the Kennet bridge will be closed between 7pm and 11pm on Wednesday.

This is to allow work on the bridge to be carried out.

The work forms part of a West Berkshire Council scheme to widen the A339 to connect a new junction with Fleming Road.
