Further three arrests in connection with violent Tadley burglaries





According to Hampshire Constabulary, a 34-year-old man from Tadley, a 27-year-old man from Tadley and a 26-year-old man from Tadley, have been arrested in connection with an investigation into two burglaries where people were assaulted.
All three have been released on bail until June 11, pending further enquiries.
The arrests come after two burglaries. The first one happened at about 11pm on Monday, April 8, where three men forced their way into a house in Broad Halfpenny Lane. There was a similar incident at about 9.15pm on Friday, April 12, at a house in Church Lane, Tadley.
Detectives are currently treating these incidents as linked, due to the very rare nature of this crime, the location and the number of suspects involved.
A 25-year-old man from Basingstoke and a 26-year-old man and 27-year-old man – also both from Tadley – were previously arrested and released on bail until June 12, pending further enquiries.
Det Insp Ben Chivers said: “We are continuing to investigate these incidents and have received helpful information from members of the local community.
“We are still keen to hear from anyone who has any information which could help us with our enquiries.
“We are especially interested in information about vehicles seen in suspicious circumstances – have you noticed a car parked in an unusual place in your street or a vehicle being driven around the area repeatedly?”
