Fuse board causes fire at business premise




A fire broke out at a commercial premise in Stanford Dingley on Friday, January 27.

Two Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service crews were called to the scene at 8.48pm.

Upon arrival, the crews from Newbury Fire Station and Theale Fire Station found a blaze in the fuse board of the property.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a C02 extinguisher to extinguish the fire, and isolated the electricity to the property.

A large fan was used to clear the remaining smoke.

Crews were on the scene for approximately one hour and 19 minutes.
