Hillier Garden Centre Newbury, in Hermitage, now company’s largest after major redevelopment

Hillier Garden Centre Newbury is now the company’s largest site after an extensive redevelopment.

Last year, the centre, located in Hermitage, underwent a redevelopment, with the first phase being completed last autumn.

The ambitious project – the largest ever undertaken by Hillier – has made Newbury the largest garden centre in the company’s 22-site portfolio based across Southern England.

The centre now features an array of new concessions, including clothing and garden equipment.

The centre welcomes both Craghoppers and Regatta, which provide high-performance outdoor clothing and gear.

Other brands joining the centre include Crane, Kalehurst and Cotton Traders and Pavers.

“We are excited to introduce these new concessions,” said garden centre director Chris Francis.

“These additions build on the successful redevelopment efforts of last year, which have transformed our Newbury centre into a leading destination.”

And in its commitment to sustainability, Hillier Garden Centre Newbury now features a rainwater harvesting system, solar panels and electric car charging points.
