German Shepherd seeks new home after owner died
Active dog suit home with older children
A German Shepherd, being cared for by a charity after her owner passed away, is looking for an active new home.
Phoenix is a seven-year-old German Shepherd who came to Dogs Trust Newbury after her owner sadly passed away. Could you give her a second chance at happiness in a loving new home?
Jenny Hopkins, Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:
“Phoenix is a lovely girl who is happiest when spending time in the great outdoors – whether that’s going on long walks or playing a game of fetch. She is looking for an active home in a rural location, with a large secure garden where she can enjoy her outdoor playtime safely.”
“Phoenix is best suited to a home with older children who can give her the time and space needed to allow her to settle in and relax in her new surroundings. As she prefers the company of people to other dogs, she would like to be the only pet in the home.”
Do you think you could give Phoenix the loving home she deserves? Why not visit the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks RG20 0HR or call the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292.
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for nearly 17,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 20 Rehoming Centres in the UK and one in Ireland.
