Get an assisted Lateral Flow Test at the Kennet Shopping centre in Newbury

There is still a chance to get an assisted Lateral Flow Test at the Kennet Shopping centre this week.

There are currently no kits being handed out but you can get a test in the centre with the help of a member of the testing team.

A member of the team will complete the test for you so that you know it has been conducted properly.

West Berkshire Council has said that it is a great way to learn how to do the test correctly.

The opening times for getting an assisted test this week are:

Monday - 9am-12pm

Tuesday - 9am- 12.30pm

Wednesday to Friday - 8am- 12pm

Saturday and Sunday - 10am- 4.30pm

The council said that results for tests will be available within 30 minutes.

It hopes that the supply of testing kits will improve soon so that they can be handed out.
