Jubilee theme suggestion for Hungerford In Bloom 2022
ENTRANTS to this year's Hungerford In Bloom contest may wish consider a royal jubilee colour scheme.
Hungerford Town Council, which organises the popular contest, said in a statement: "We hope that in this [Queen's platinum] jubilee year even more people will get involved and have fun enhancing our beautiful town and maybe providing inspiration to others.
"The hanging baskets and window boxes organised by Hungerford Town Council will have red, white and blue plantings this year.

"Perhaps entrants to Hungerford in Bloom might also like to consider a jubilee theme."
The town council welcomes entries from residents, community groups and businesses.
There are categories for all types of garden or floral displays, large or small.
To enter, send an email to admin@hungerford-tc.gov.uk requesting an entry form.
Alternatively telephone (01488) 686195 and leave a message with your name, an email address or postal address and you will be sent an entry form.

There will also be a competition for allotment holders in Hungerford.
Further details on this will be announced by Hungerford Allotment Holders Association (HAHA).
The closing date for entries will be Monday, June 20, and judging will take place on Saturday, July 2.
