Get stuck in at the FreeFest

Hampstead Norreys is holding a new FREE arts festival FreeFest this weekend, starting Friday.
FreeFest offers something for all ages – children, teenagers, families and adults - with 50 events at five venues over the three days.
Some of the events are ticketed and the free tickets are available from Hampstead Norreys community shop, but there are another 31 events which you can just turn-up to on the day to enjoy. Highlights include:
For children, there is a vegetable sculpture competition, junior creative workshops, BIG paint by numbers, Ice Age 4 film showing and a model gardens competition.For teenagers, there are three drumming workshops, an acting workshop, a talent show and cup cake decorating. For families there is a jazz and swing afternoon, tea dance, movie day, BIG origami and BIG knitting, a sculpture trail and art exhibition.For adults there is a salsa fiesta, literary evening, willow weaving and watercolour masterclasses.
Refreshments are available at The White Hart, the church and community shop or bring a picnic.
