Good time had by all at annual Chapel Row Fayre

While the total amount raised is yet to be confirmed, support for the charitable venture was not in short supply as hundreds headed to the village green to browse the stalls, parade their pooches with pride in the dog shows and even undertake the chilling ice bucket challenge which has taken social media by storm in recent weeks.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), Macmillan Cancer Care, Anthony Nolan Cancer Charity, West Berkshire Mencap and Riding for the Disabled.
The district's commemorations of the First World War continued, as the Bucklebury and Marlston Agricultural Society selling posies, replicating those giving to soldiers before they headed to war, at the event.
One of the fayre's organisers, Sue Glover, said: "It has been absolutely amazing...marvellous and everyone has been so helpful.
"I'm so pleased. It enables us to make more money, that's all I wanted to do, to give something back."
