Great Englefield run to return

THE Great Englefield Run is set to return after a successful debut last year.

To take place on Sunday, August 28, the event will be held in the private grounds of Englefield House, near Theale.

It has been organised by The Rotary Club of Reading Abbey and Tadley Runners.

All money raised goes to charity, and last year the event raised £700 which lead organisers to make it an annual event.

The fun begins at 11am with a 10 kilometre multi-terrain run, and junior runs and fancy dress fun runs will also take place.

Registration is between 9:30 and 10:45 on the day, and roads surrounding the area will be closed at 10:30am.
