Newbury business park invests in bus shelters as part of commitment to sustainable transport
The wait for public transport at Greenham Business Park will be that much more comfortable now that new shelters have been installed.
Greenham Business Park is committed to promoting sustainable modes of transport and has invested in four new bus stops within the park to enhance the offering to tenants and visitors.
The stops are now in situ.
A subsidised shuttle bus - the 103/103A/103B - runs between Greenham Business Park and Newbury Wharf every hour during normal working hours, Monday to Friday.
The fare to and from the business park is just £1 per journey, payable on board.
As well as people working in the park, the service also enables access to The Base arts centre and gallery, managed by the Corn Exchange, which houses a café run by local award-winning company The Honesty Group, as well as The National Needlework Archive and Greenham Common - easily accessible from the business park and hosting a multitude of walking, running and cycling trails plus a café at the renovated Control Tower.
