Greenham collision worsens Newbury am rush hour traffic problems
According to Ellie Gray of the Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service, one pump from Newbury and a second from Hungerford were called at 8.37am to the junction of Greenham Road and Racecourse Road.
No-one was trapped and the fire service left the scene at 8.46am.
Rush hour traffic in Newbury was already affected by an earlier diesel spill at Lower Way in Thatcham, which was closed this morning (Thursday) following the spillage.
Update 9.30am
Thames Valley Police were called at 8.36am to the collision, involving two vehicles, a Vauxhall Astra car and a Black Yamaha motorcycle.
South Central Ambulance confirmed a 19-year-old man was treated at the scene for minor injuries
The road is not closed, but delays are expected.
