Grundon to hold public consultation
The waste firm will hold a consultation on its plans to build a waste incinerator at a greenfield site in Chieveley
A TWO-day public consultation is to be held by waste firm Grundon as it prepares to produce planning permission to build a waste incinerator, capable of powering 50,000 homes, at a greenfield site in Chieveley.
The pre-application public consultation event will take place on Friday (February 11) between 3pm and 8pm, and the following day (Saturday, February 12), between 10am and 4pm, at Curridge WI Hall, in Curridge.
The consultation event will be open to anyone interested in the proposals and will provide the opportunity to view and comment on the plans and speak to members of the development team before the submission of a planning application.
In addition, the firm is also offering attendees an opportunity to visit the site and see how the proposals would sit in the landscape.
Anyone who wishes to ask questions ahead of the consultation is asked to telephone 0800 169 8766.
