Hairdressing staff smash fundraising target

The staff at the Oxford Street store have spent the last couple of months raising money for West Berkshire Mencap though various activities.
The fundraising challenges have included raffles, a red carpet event and a sponsored walk to Kintbury and back.
As part of the red carpet event, the staff dressed up in evening wear during the working day.
Owner, Jason Palmer, said: "The customers said they would have dressed up if they had known."
The team has so far raised more than £1,500 with money still coming in.
They had initially set themselves a target of about £1,000.
Mr Palmer added: "Mencap had quite a lot of their funding taken away.
"We thought it would be quite a nice time to raise funds for them as a lot of people use them.
"We are definitely going to fundraising again."
