Hallowe'en fundraiser certainly not a fright for MS Society

More news, no ads

On Wednesday, the staff at LK Hair, on Regnum Drive, opened the doors into the evening for a hallowe’en themed night, which included tarot and palm reading with a clairvoyant and a trick or treat lucky dip which ran until Saturday.
An array of creepy costumes were worn on the night, with the best of show going to the salon’s very own senior stylist Katy who dressed as Johnny Depp’s Sweeny Todd.
In total, 30 people attended.
The night’s funds will be added to the salons annual fundraising total for the MS Society, which is its charity of the year for 2014, with the final figure to be announced at a presentation in March.
Salon manager Kim Piper said: “It went really well thank you.
“We chose MS because we have a member of staff whose mum died last year from it and also several clients who are sufferers.
“We recently donated vouchers to the local MS Society cake sale as some of their members are clients.
“We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came and all those clients who made donations, and to Marks and Spencer for donating the Halloween food which was spookily yummy.
