Handbag and schoolbag stolen in Burghclere burglary

According to Hampshire Constabulary, the incident occurred between 2am and 7am on Tuesday, February 5, at an address in Breachfield.
Burglars got into the house via an insecure door and items including a handbag, power tools, a mobile phone and a school bag were stolen.
The school bag was later found by a dog walker in the area of the Jonathan Hill car park.
Pc Steven Kettle from Basingstoke police station said: “Did you see anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident?
“I would also like to remind people to double check that you have locked your windows and doors before you go to bed at night so as not to allow easy access to your home by an opportunistic thief.”
