Happy 40th, Lambourn Carnival!

Despite predictions of a repeat of last year's rain, the village had it's sun hat on today (Sunday).
Scottish pipers, the Britannia Majorettes and steam engines led the parade.
Lots of walking entries followed, with a mobile birthday cake and candles marking the fact that this is the event's 40th birthday.
Crowds lined the route, capturing the moment with cameras and mobile phones.
You can see two pages of news and pictures, plus all the results, in next Thursday's Hungerford edition of the Newbury Weekly News.
