And as we reflect on 2012, we ponder what 2013 will bring.
Last year will undoubtedly be remembered for its celebrations, which started in June with the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
Then came the Olympics and Paralympics, with their impressive opening and closing ceremonies, along with a record-breaking medal haul for Team GB.
Towards the end of the year West Berkshire was in the media spotlight after the Duchess of Cambridge announced that she was pregnant with her first child.
