Hampshire police have launched a rural tool theft survey to better understand the crime concerns of rural business owners.
They are looking to hear from business owners in the countryside who have had tools or power tools stolen from their commercial premises.
A police spokesperson said: “We are looking at evaluating different data sources around this crime type, and we understand that there may be some cases where incidents have not been reported to police.
“Your assistance in completing this short survey will help this process and help us tackle acquisitive crime in rural communities.”
