Hay bales on fire in barn near Crookham Hill

Hay bales caught fire in a barn near Crookham Hill on Saturday.

Two crews from Newbury Fire Station were sent to the scene at 11.26am and they used two main jets to put out the blaze and dampen down the area.

Firefighters were on the scene for one hour and 46 minutes.

One crew from Newbury Fire Station returned to the barn three times for reinspections and to dampen down any hotspots.
