Horris Hill's headmaster announces new vision for prep school

A new vision for Horris Hill has been announced after its head conducted an in-depth review of the Hampshire prep school.

Rob Stewart took over the role as head of Horris Hill School at the start of the academic year and has been getting to know all of his students and members of staff since his appointment.

Following this cross-school forum, Mr Stewart has announced that the new pillars of Horris Hill are family, freedom and flair.

He said: "My senior team and I have spent hours upon hours talking to everyone at Horris Hill, from our amazing grounds staff to our young NQTs and our parents old and new. We simply asked them all: What does Horris Hill mean to you?

"This exercise has helped us to craft an exciting new vision for the school which we’re delighted to reveal."

Family is illustrated through the ‘home away from home’ feel of the boarding school, freedom highlights the opportunities for self-expression and the development of ambition, and flair emphasises the focus on academic excellence at Horris Hill.
