Heavy rain expected in West Berkshire as Met Office issues yellow weather warning
Yellow weather warnings are in place for West Berkshire for the next two days.
The two separate alerts are for heavy rain and strong winds.
They cover all of West Berkshire and North Hampshire.
They are in place from 5pm tonight (Monday) until 4am tomorrow morning and then again for Tuesday evening and overnight.
The Met Office warns of a band of heavy rain, accompanied by strong and gusty winds, moving eastwards across the south this evening.
Around 20-30mm of rain is expected over a few hours, with up to 50mm falling in some parts.
Similar conditions are then expected to return tomorrow (Tuesday) evening after a brief respite during the day.
Some disruption to rail and bus services and problems with spray on roads are expected.
There could also be some localised flooding, the Met Office warns.
Things are then set to improve by Wednesday, when it becomes drier.
