Storms and heavy rainfall have already disrupted some parts of the country and the next band of rain is set to spread across the whole of the south of England from Cornwall to Kent.

As always, the Met Office warns of possible disruption to transport services and spray and flooding on roads probably making journey times longer.

There is also the possibility of disruption to power supplies and other services.
