Heavy rain set to continue over weekend, say Met Office
Those on the coast have experienced the worst of the severe weather conditions, but the Met Office has warned that gale force winds could reach up to 50mph inland.

Heavy rain is forecast for most of today and things don't look set to improve over the weekend, with similar downpours expected on Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon.
Flood warnings are still in place along the River Enborne and Foudry Brook, with river levels rising due to heavy rainfall recently.
A similar warning is also in place along the River Kennet from Thatcham to Reading and the River Thames from Pangbourne to Purley, including in Pangbourne, Whitchurch and Purley.
No properties are expected to be flooded as a result, however the Environment Agency is a warning that low-lying land adjacent to the rivers could be flooded.
