Yellow warning for rain in London and South East England

A yellow weather warning has been declared for London and much of the South East.

Heavy rainfall will hit the South East — including West Berkshire — tomorrow (Thursday) evening from 9pm and then spread across much of England and Wales on Friday, says the Met Office.

Possible thunderstorms may break out, which could bring 20 to 30mm of rainfall in a couple of hours.

Motorists and public transport users are reminded to take caution when travelling and that journey times may take longer.
