Those who dared to step out today (Saturday) may have experienced some problems as the downpour hit Newbury.

The Met Office issued weather warnings to areas neighbouring Newbury today but it seems we have not missed the rain.

In what shoppers are calling a "leak" in the roof, has caused water to flow into the store, according to social media videos.

There has also been a report of what is believed to be a "burst water main" on Fir Tree Lane.
