Heavy tailbacks of rush hour traffic on A339 Headley due to roadworks

Temporary traffic lights have been installed on the A339, near to Headley Tyres and Cheam school, while work to install a new right hand lane takes place, with the work scheduled to last six weeks.
One Basingstoke to Newbury commuter reported heavy traffic tailing back as far as Greenham Business Park roundabout, in the Basingstoke direction this morning (Tues Jun 18).
