Dog of the Week: The latest dogs looking for their forever homes from Newbury Dogs Trust.

Dogs Trust Newbury has a number of dogs at its Hamstead Marshall base who need a new home.

And every week we have been shining a spotlight on one of them to try to help spread the word.

Nationwide, the charity currently has 751 dogs that are looking for a family to join.

This week we have Rottweiler Shadow to tell you about.

The trust said she is “a lovable two-year-old” who loves a fuss, food and toys.

She is looking for a pet-free home with a private garden and older children in the household.

“Although Shadow needs to be the only pet in the home, she would probably enjoy having some canine friends whilst out on walks,” the trust added.

“Shadow can have a bit of trouble sharing her toys, so will need adopters willing to help her learn to share.”

She came to the trust as a stray, so they don't have any information on her past.

They added: “Shadow can't wait to find her forever home so give someone all her love and more!”
