Henderson marks back-to-back Hennessy success

Thousands of people descended on The Racecourse Newbury in bright but crisp conditions to watch the prestigious race at 3pm, including the Princess Royal, Joan Collins Myleene Klass and Denise Lewis.
There was an early setback for Henderson as his other runner, Hadrian's Approach, fell early but the 20-1 French chestnut

e, ridden by Barry Geraghty, held on to outpace Rocky Creek in a thrilling finish.
The win marks back-to-back success for Henderson following

ride to victory at last year's Gold Cup.
Speaking after the race, clerk of the course Richard Osgood said: "It's been a great days racing. The weather has been kind to us and we've had a very large crowd with some excellent racing with a local trainer winning the big race."
