Here they come...Hungerford greets Tour of Britain

The streets were lined with spectators as the race - the UK's biggest professional cycle race - whizzed through the town.
There were rolling roadblocks as riders, accompanied by lead cars, arrived via Salisbury Road then powered down High Street and Charnham Street before heading off for Halfway along the A4, passing through Hoe Benham and Boxford as they left the area.
Pupils from Hungerford Primary School, who were encouraged to bring packed lunches, were among the cheering throng and the town was decked with flags for the event.

The event will feature in more than three hours of live coverage on ITV4 each day plus an hour’s highlights each evening.
The entire, eight day race started in Liverpool and will end in London on Sunday, September 14.
Meanwhile the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) group hopes to capitalise on the interest by promoting local cycle routes.
Among them are rides along the Ridgeway taking in spectacular views, plus routes through countryside in Great Bedwyn, Kintbury and Inkpen.
