Here we go - 92 football grounds in less than 92 hours
It took 83 hours and 50 minutes for Plymouth Argyle fan Steve Hall, aged 57, of Kintbury, his son-in-law, Oxford United fan Cris Bowden, aged 34, of Hungerford, and their friends Marc Harris and Andy Price, who live in Swindon and Leicester and support their hometown teams, to complete the challenge after setting off from Newbury last Tuesday.
The trip - which involved visiting every one of the 92 Football League and Barclays Premier League grounds - concluded at the Plymouth versus Oxford match on Saturday.
More than £2,800 has been raised for Oxford-based charity Helen and Douglas House, which provides hospice care for children and young adults.
Inspiration for the fundraising feat came after Mr Hall witnessed the care and support the hospice provided to the daughter of his former next door neighbour, four-year-old Ellie, who was born with congenital toxoplasmosis.
Mr Bowden said: "We're extremely happy that we smashed out target time. The hardest part was the lack of sleep, and our planned stop in Swindon backfired when we realised there was only one single bed between the four of us.
"We were at a real low point during the first day from being sleep deprived, but the security guard and Brighton & Hove Albion brightened our day by letting us look around the stadium and go on the pitch - that was a highlight."
Mr Bowden has organised an auction of memorabilia donated by various clubs collected en route, and has called in sports presenter and former England footballer Matt le Tissier to help at the event.
It is being held at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club, Basingstoke on Friday, April 25. For tickets, visit www.helenanddouglashouse.org.uk or to make a donation visit www.justgiving.com/Cris-Bowden
