Enjoy a free two-night break to Somerset in the job role of 'mansion tester' for online property conveyancer My Home Move Conveyancing
Do you fancy getting paid to sip cocktails by a pool, in the lavish surroundings of a country mansion, as part of a two-night mini break you can enjoy for free?
A 'mansion tester' is being sought for a unique short-term project, which will permit one lucky candidate to live a temporary life of luxury later this month in a Grade II-listed home worth millions.
Dubbed 'the world's best job', the position will involve relaxing in the swimming pool, playing pool in the Georgian property's games room or working out in the private gym.
The role, perhaps ideal for someone yet to take a holiday this year, is being advertised by My Home Move Conveyancing, which supports people with the legal aspects of a house move.
It is looking for a candidate to report back on the firm's online services while enjoying a free stay at the luxurious Manor Holcombe in Somerset.
The stunning three-storey property, worth more than £3m, is available to rent as a holiday home with Airbnb for between a whopping £1,600 and £2,200 a night.
But the lucky candidate fortunate enough to land this unusual job role will be permitted to stay free of charge – as well as getting paid an additional £500 in cash to feedback to staff at My Home Move Conveyancing about the work that they do.
An ideal candidate, says the firm, will be a 'luxury seeking house hunter' with an eye for detail, and potential applicants must be available to stay at the eight-bedroom home between September 21 and September 23.
Alongside indoor and outdoor pools, a hot tub, gym and games room, is a barbecue area, playground, treehouse and huge gardens, as well as 11 beds spread across eight bedrooms plus seven bathrooms.
Dev Malle, chief business development officer at My Home Move Conveyancing, explains why the firm is looking for a mansion tester.
He said: “Buying a new house is an incredibly exciting experience, but it can also be quite daunting – finding the right legal service is often part of the challenge. It can be one of the biggest purchases you’ll make and therefore it’s important to find someone you can trust to help guide you through the process.
“That’s why we wanted to put our expertise to the test, as well as giving prospective house-hunters a little taste of luxury as they review our online service, all while getting paid to do so. After such a challenging year, we’d like to invite anyone who fancies a break in one of Britain’s most stunning properties to apply, and become our mansion tester.”
The closing date for applications is noon on September 13.
Potential candidates as part of their formal application will need to explain in 100 words or less why they should be considered for the role. For more details click here.
