POLICE are appealing for witnesses after The Lock Stock and Barrel pub in Northbrook Street was burgled.
While staff were cashing up on Monday April 6 between 9.50pm and 10.30pm, a man entered by the front door and went upstairs to a private office.
He was seen two to three minutes later, this time with a coat hood covering his head, leaving the building by the front door. Staff later found that a quantity of cash had been taken from the office.
The offender is described as white, in his early twenties, 5ft 10ins and slim with dark blonde hair. At the time of the offence he was wearing a thigh length bomber-style jacket which had a hood with a fur trim.
