Hermitage pop up tea room will raise funds for Nepal




New village hall to host event

VILLAGERS in Hermitage will be raising funds the Nepal earthquake appeal on Sunday.

More than 8,000 people were killed while thousands more were injured or displaced after the Himalayan country was devastated by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday, April 25.

People in Hermitage will be raising money towards the aid appeal at their new village hall. The event will feature afternoon teas, coffee, cakes, a second-hand book sale, a tombola and bric-a-brac sale.

The event will be held at the hall in Pinewood Crescent between 3pm and 5pm on May 17.
